Quitting DayCare

This is quite random, but I feel very random at the moment. It's now November 1. I'm going to be 22 on the 12th and that just scares me. But that's not what I wanted to post about. I'm quitting my daycare center on the 28th and it really sadden me to know that I may never cross paths with the people I worked with for over a year and most especially the children I've come to love and respect. I learned a lot as a teacher for these two-year-olds, and one of them is that no matter how many times I complain to people about how it sucks to be changing diapers all day long, the times spent with them was very well damn worth it.

There is a saying that there is always a reason for everything. I am still a firm believer regarding that cliche. When I came to Ohio a few years ago, I thought the place stinks. I had somewhat of a culture shock and I missed home (California) terribly. Now that we're moving back to California next month, it just suddenly struck me that I was here for a reason, and that I must appreciate the gift offered to me - to see the smiles of little children and know that somehow, I've made an impact on them, and vice versa. They may not remember me after a few years (or months) later, but I surely will not forget them because maybe they've made a bigger impact on me as a whole person. I love those children very much and it really pains me to know that I'm leaving them and won't see them grow up to be the best kids I've known them to be...

I'm thinking of composing a letter to the center just before I leave. I know I'm going to be an emotional wreck in the coming weeks.

Japanese Songs Recommendation

I actually posted this on a forum, but since I really wanna remember the song titles and everything, might as well make a note to myself here. Most of them are from anime though.

1. Utada Hikaru [Artist] - First Love (It's very nice. There's some English in it, but not a whole lot. Actually there's an English version of this song too, which is also pretty good.)

2. Ayashi no Ceres [Anime] - Scarlet (This song is simply wonderful, especially listening to the piano playing...I could listen to this song forever. The vocals are amazing! I recommend that you also listen to the piano solo of this song.)

3. Kamen Rider [TV Series] - Long, Long Ago, 20th Century (This song has always stuck on my mind since I was only 5. Yeah it's that old, but it's epic. Those who were fans of Kamen Rider back then, you may recognize this song. It's...heartfelt.)

4. Grenadier [Anime], Shimokawa Mikuni [Artist] - KOHAKU (Somewhat on the upbeat side, but not quite as it's still calming in a way. Very easy on the ears.]

5. Grenadier [Anime], Shimokawa Mikuni [Artist] - Kanashimi ni Makenaide (Not so upbeat this time, but not really on the slow side either. This song is quite nice.)

6. Angel Heart [Anime], Kanon [Artist] - My Destiny (Kanon's voice is magnificent! I love how she did this song, I really do. It's quite dramatic.)

7.
Saiunkoku Monogatari [Anime], Ayaka Hirahara [Artist] - Hajimari no Kaze (Upbeat and the pace kinda picks up in some parts, which I really like. I couldn't stop listening to this song when I first heard it. Ayaka has a beautiful voice, kinda similar to Kanon, but with a much lower tone in her voice.)

8. Ayashi no Ceres [Anime] - One (This song's pretty cool, with a mixture of rock and pop. Very fast paced.)

9. La Corda d'Oro [Anime], Kanon [Artist] - Brand New Breeze (So damn beautiful! It has some English mixed in the background, which is actually pretty good.)

10. Fantastic Children [Anime], Origa [Artist] - Mizu no Madoromi (Origa is simply AMAZING! I love her vocals here! The lyrics are also catchy that I actually memorized half of the song due to constant singing of this beautiful song. A "haunting lullaby" as some would call it.)

11. Fantastic Children [Anime], Inori [Artist] - Voyage (Again, another great song that I just cannot stop listening to as well. Outstanding and emotionally poignant, especially if you've seen the anime.)

Another Blog?!

What can I say? I love blogging. I'm not quite sure what I'll put in here yet. I already have a blog for family and friends-related on another site, so I'll think of something. I'm out of ideas though. Guess it will be something similar to my other blogs, but with an extra something. Perhaps some games, books, and anime reviews...somewhere along those general lines. That way it won't sound too much like a private diary of my life.

I'm also going to get a few of my friends to join this site too - just so it doesn't seem like I'm rambling to a wall. =]

I'll update once in awhile, I guess. I'm sure I can fit this in somewhere along my hectic schedule. Actually it's not so hectic anymore, but it is a favorite saying of mine just so I sound like a busy person that can't be bothered. xD But I will be busy in a few months time, that's for sure. What with all the moving back to California deal and -

There we go again. I'm rambling too much. I had meant to keep this a simple introductory, and so it shall be done.
